Small appliances

Small appliances make everyday jobs around the home easier: cleaning with cordless stick vacuums and robot vacuum cleaners, preparing meals with blenders, food processors, coffee machines and microwave ovens, and personal care with shavers, epilators and hairdryers. This category brings together the main sub-categories, including kitchen, cleaning and ironing, and personal care.

When choosing, think about how you will really use the appliance and the space you have: power in watts, capacity in litres for kitchen products, battery life on cordless models, noise and ease of cleaning. For coffee machines, the preparation system matters (pods or fully automatic); for robot vacuum cleaners, look at features such as smart navigation and route scheduling. Brands on offer include Philips, De'Longhi, Faber, Dyson and Bosch.
