Graphics cards

Graphics cards (also called video cards) handle the graphics side of a computer and are decisive for gaming, 3D work, video editing and accelerated computing. The category includes NVIDIA GeForce RTX and AMD Radeon models, with dual or triple fan designs, factory-overclocked versions and GDDR6 or GDDR7 memory.

When choosing, first consider the amount of video memory, from 4 to 16 GB in the models listed, which affects textures and high resolutions, and the GPU generation. Then check the outputs, such as HDMI and DisplayPort, the PCIe 5.0 x16 interface, the size of the card against your case and the power it requires, so you can be sure your power supply is up to it. A multi-fan cooler helps keep temperatures and noise down. Brands include Gigabyte, PNY, ASUS, Zotac, MSI and Sapphire.
