Paper shredders

Paper shredders protect the confidentiality of invoices, contracts, forms and documents containing personal data by reducing sheets to strips or fragments. The category includes desk-side and office models from brands such as Rexel, HSM, Kobra and Fellowes, some with automatic feed and a waste bin on wheels.

To choose the right model, start with the type of cut: a cross-cut shredder makes the pieces harder to put back together than a strip-cut one. Then consider how many sheets it can shred in a single pass, which in our catalogue ranges from a few sheets to several hundred, and the capacity of the waste bin, given in litres. Machines with automatic feed save time with large volumes of paper, while compact models are enough for occasional use.
