Printers and multifunction printers

The printers and multifunction printers category covers laser and inkjet printers, in black and white and colour, and multifunction models that combine printing, copying and scanning, including versions with an ADF and automatic duplex. Alongside the office and home models you will find label printers and professional devices such as scanners and barcode readers.

To choose, look at the type of printing: laser for high volumes of documents, inkjet for colour and photos, refillable-tank models for people who print often. Check the paper size, the speed in pages per minute, the resolution, automatic duplex and Wi-Fi, LAN or USB connectivity. Also consider the cost and yield of consumables, toner or ink, and the paper tray capacity. Brands on offer include Epson, Brother, Zebra, Canon, HP and Kyocera.
