Plotters

Plotters are large-format printers used for technical drawings, floor plans, CAD projects, signage and posters. The range includes inkjet models in A1 format and up to 36 inches wide, some with Wi-Fi, along with accessories such as warranty extensions for plotters already in use.

When choosing, consider the maximum print width, for example 24 or 36 inches, the speed, quoted for instance in seconds per A1 page, and the number of inks. Check the connections, such as LAN, USB and Wi-Fi, the print language (PostScript) if you work with professional files and whether the stand and basket are included. For architecture and engineering practices, a plotter produces technical drawings at full scale. You will find plotters from HP, Canon and Epson, for example from the DesignJet, imagePROGRAF and SureColor families.
