Cleaning and ironing

The cleaning and ironing category covers appliances for keeping the home in order: cordless bagless stick vacuums, handheld cordless vacuum cleaners, robot vacuum and mopping cleaners, vacuums that wash and dry hard floors, and steam generator irons. They are designed for floors, rugs and surfaces and to cut the time spent on chores.

When choosing a cordless vacuum, consider the battery life, the suction power, the dust container capacity and the accessories, such as a brush for pet hair. Robots offer smart navigation and route planning, handy if you want to automate cleaning. For steam generator irons, the power in watts and the steam pressure in bar count. Also take into account noise and weight. Brands include Hoover, Roborock, Tineco, Ezviz, Philips and Kärcher.
