Keyboards and mice

The keyboards and mice category covers input devices for the office, home and gaming: wired and wireless keyboards, keyboard and mouse combos, ergonomic right-handed mice and high-precision gaming mice. Connections include USB, PS/2, Bluetooth and a 2.4 GHz receiver.

When choosing, think about how you will use them: for long typing sessions, comfort, key travel and size matter, while for gaming the sensor resolution in DPI and the polling rate in Hz come first. Decide between a cable, which avoids batteries and signal delay, and a wireless connection, which is more convenient and suits several devices over Bluetooth. Also check the key layout: some models have foreign layouts such as QWERTZ or AZERTY, so make sure it is the one you need. Brands include Logitech, Cherry, ASUS, Microsoft and Razer.
