Memory cards and USB drives

The memory cards and USB drives category covers portable storage: microSDXC cards with an SD adapter, memory cards and USB flash drives, along with a few RAM modules for computers. They are used to add space to smartphones, tablets and cameras, to move files from one computer to another and to carry documents and backups with you.

For a memory card, check the capacity, the speed class (Class 10, U3, V30), the A2 rating for app performance and compatibility with your device, for example microSD or SD format. For a USB drive, the USB standard, such as USB 3.2, affects read and write speeds, alongside the capacity. If you record high-resolution video, you need cards with a suitable sustained write speed. The range includes SanDisk and Transcend products.
