E-book readers

E-book readers are devices dedicated to digital reading, with an electronic ink screen designed to be easier on the eyes and readable even in bright light. They let you carry a whole library in one lightweight device, handy for travel, commuting and reading in the evening.

When choosing an e-reader, consider the screen size, the choice between a black-and-white or a colour display (both types exist), the storage capacity, for example 16 or 32 GB, and whether it has a built-in light. Also check the supported file formats and the e-book store linked to the device, because that determines where you buy books and how your library is kept in sync. The range includes PocketBook and Amazon Kindle models, including a version for children.
