Desktops and mini PCs

The desktops and mini PCs category covers fixed computers for the office, home and professional use: tower PCs, SFF (small form factor) models, compact mini PCs and barebone kits to complete with RAM and an SSD. They suit workstations, meeting rooms and laboratories, and anyone who wants a computer that takes up little desk space.

When choosing a desktop PC, consider the processor (for example Intel Core, Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen), the amount of RAM, the type and capacity of the SSD and the pre-installed operating system, often Windows 11 Pro. Form factor matters: a tower offers more room for expansion, while SFF and mini PCs save space. For graphics or compute-heavy work, look for models with a dedicated graphics card. Also check the ports, connectivity and, if a keyboard is included, its layout. Brands on offer include HP, ASUS, Lenovo, Acer and Dell.
