PC speakers

PC speakers improve the sound of computers, laptops and consoles far beyond what built-in speakers can manage. In this category you will find 2.1 systems with a subwoofer, 5.1 surround systems with a remote control and portable Bluetooth party speakers, some with light effects.

When choosing, consider the RMS power, which shows the real volume rather than the peak figure, the configuration (2.1 for a desk, 5.1 for films and games), the connections (jack, USB, Bluetooth) and room for the subwoofer. For portable speakers, battery life and splash resistance matter. Also think about whether you need a remote control to adjust the volume from a distance. Brands available include Logitech and NGS.
