Soundbars and home theatre

Soundbars and home theatre systems improve your television sound, with a wider soundstage and clearer dialogue, without the tangle of cables of a traditional set-up. The category includes 2.0, 2.1 and 3.1 soundbars with wireless subwoofers, models with Dolby Atmos and Wi-Fi speakers.

When choosing, consider the number of channels (2.1, 3.1 and above) and the power in watts, whether there is a subwoofer, the length of the bar in relation to your television and the connections available, such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Check the audio formats supported, such as Dolby Digital and Dolby Atmos, and whether the bar can be wall-mounted. Brands available include Samsung, Sharp, Sony, Empire and Philips.
