Dishwashers

Dishwashers wash and dry plates, pans and glasses, saving time and, when chosen carefully, water and energy. The category includes freestanding and built-in models, 60 cm wide for larger households and slim 45 cm versions for smaller kitchens.

When choosing, consider the number of place settings (from 9 to 15 on the models available), the width, the energy class and the number of programmes. Look at the noise level, whether the racks can be adjusted and the finish, stainless steel or white. If you have a recess, check the built-in measurements carefully. Brands available include Beko, Midea, Whirlpool, Hotpoint, Bosch and Candy.
