Freezers

Freezers let you keep fresh and cooked food for a long time, which is handy for larger households, for people who shop in bulk and for anyone who needs more space than a fridge offers. The category includes chest freezers and upright freezers with drawers, in capacities from under 100 to over 300 litres.

To choose, start from the capacity in litres and the space you have: a chest freezer takes up more floor area but holds a great deal, while an upright one is easier to organise. Check the energy class, NoFrost technology, which prevents ice building up, the number of drawers and the colour. Brands available include Beko, Hisense, Whirlpool, Comfee, Indesit and Akai.
