Cooker hoods

Cooker hoods draw away smoke, steam and cooking smells, keeping the air in your kitchen cleaner and reducing grease on wall units and walls. In this category you will find wall-mounted hoods in stainless steel and glass, in 60 and 90 cm widths, with LED lighting over the hob.

When choosing, consider the width, which should at least match that of your hob, the power and the energy efficiency class. Check whether the hood can work in extraction mode, venting outside, or recirculation mode, with filtered air returned to the room, and consider the noise level and how easy the filters are to clean. Looks matter too: stainless steel, black or designer glass. Brands available include Smeg and Bosch.
