Portable air conditioners

Portable air conditioners are the answer when you want to cool a room without a fixed installation: they can be moved from room to room and simply plugged into a socket. They are handy in rented homes or for anyone who needs cool air in just a few rooms. This category also includes indoor and outdoor units for split air conditioners and other solutions for thermal comfort.

When choosing, consider the BTU rating against the floor area of the room, the energy class, the noise level and how the hot exhaust air is dealt with, usually through a hose routed to a window. Check whether a remote control, a dehumidifier mode or Wi-Fi is included. Brands available include Samsung, Midea, Comfee, Ardes and DPM.
