Hardware and security

Hardware and security brings together devices for protecting and managing buildings and outdoor areas: network and dome surveillance cameras, PTZ models, access control systems, smart home actuators and control units, plus mounts and installation accessories. It is a useful category for homes as well as for businesses and shops.

To find your way around, consider the camera resolution, protection against rain and vandalism for outdoor installations, the type of power supply and connection, and compatibility with the other devices in your system. Also check whether a product needs a specific hub or control unit to work. Brands available include Axis, Ubiquiti, Homematic IP and eQ-3.
